What made Adam superior than Angels ?

The Intention of this Post is not to hurt the feelings of Christian Belief, I love Christians, Im friends with many of them. The Intention of this Post is to explain the story of Adam in Quran. So.So i apologize in advance if i hurt some one feelings.
Recently a Post about Apple evoked something in me that was already there in my conscious but sleeping.i started studying Bible last year ,Idk what made me do that, Me being a Muslim Reading Bible even though i read Quran. That must be shocking for many Muslims and Christians. I started reading Bible to find out more about Prophet Jesus and from christian friends i already got so many similar quotations of Jesus pbuh from Bible that are exactly the same wordings of prophet Mohammad pbuh. and what ever you read,what ever you go through, what ever you came across is not for vain. It was made to be reach out to you, to be read out by you, to be seen out by you. i think now i should cut to the chase.

Bible begins with the chapter Genesis, which stands for ” the Beginning ” , Our Quran also starts with surah Fateha, which means “the Opening ” 🙂 . but its not what we gonna talk today, Genesis Vs Fateha. Nope not at all, thats not my intentions. In Genesis, the God made earth and heavens in six days, and he made Adam and Eve and placed them in the heaven. Do we have same beliefs ? yes we believe the same. So whats the point here ? Where is the main issue ? the issue is if you read Genesis, you don’t read any where that God put something, the desire, the atom, the seed of knowledge in Adam that will grow on its own, and Genesis explains that When God placed him in Heaven he forbade him to go near the forbidden tree without telling him why so? and then the bible explains in its own through the words of the Devil that the tree had the fruit of knowledge,if you eat from that tree you get the same knowledge as God, and then Adam did so, he ate from the tree, and he got the knowledge, and God made angry with him and made him sent down to earth since now he got equal in knowledge to God. Now this is the story of bible. and having this story in mind solves everything, it makes you understand and appreciate the story of Adam in Quran at 7 different places.

so im sharing the 1st time the story of Adam it appeared in Quran, and the 1st time story of Adam appeared in Surah Baqarah seems like, God chosed it to be in Surah baqarah to correct the biblical account.because other places he shared the story of adam he didn’t talk about knowledge at all, but the 1st time in the beginning of Quran it talks about knowledge seems to me it appeared to correct the biblical story. So it begins in Quran as 1st Allah announces to the angels that he is going to place a Viceroy on Earth (not in heaven on earth , that is the main point to remember) , and Angels question the authority of Allah by asking why will you place someone as viceroy on earth who causes bloodshed? while we praise and worship you? and Allah said to them ” you don’t know what i know ” . having said that, he placed the seed of knowledge in Adam , he taught him everything, the names of every thing, the definition of everything,the Morals of everything, in short he gave him the Knowledge , and after doing so,He the Allah commanded angels to tell Him the names of everything, and angels couldn’t do it because they had no knowledge, and then Allah ordered Adam to come forth and tell the names of everything, and Adam came and did so, and angels said to Allah, verily we have no knowledge, we have little knowledge even that is from what you have given us, exalted you are. and after explaining the knowledge part , Allah explains that Angels bowed down and Sheetan didn’t so he became enemy with Adam , and then Allah placed Adam in the Jannah and told him not to go near that Tree, Sheetan is the clear enemy to you. and Adam mistakenly eats from it and ends up coming down to earth , for which Allah already told the angels in the 1st place he is going to place a viceroy on earth.

I explained the two different versions of one same story “Adam ” from Bible and from Quran. you are the one to judge between right and wrong. the path is clear to you.
If given the circumstances in bible, Adam eat from the tree only to acquire the knowledge is not bad,then it is something that human must be proud of, and God is someone jealous who doesn;t have to give us the knowledge  right ? we need knowledge we don’t need God then. he is of a jealous Kind, and Thanks to Sheetan for letting us eat from the tree and making us knowledgeable, Guess what the biblical story has done? exactly the same what im suggesting, now in west you see majority of people hating God, and not wanting religion but wanting Knowledge, wanting science, but they are all blindfolded by the wrong story.

Because read the Quran version, Allah already placed in the heart of Adam the knowledge, the seed of knowledge that will keep on growing, the knowledge that made Angels bowed down except the sheetan. Allah corrects the biblical account from the start, because that basic account mislead many. if Adam ate from the tree for the sake of knowledge he is a hero as a Sinner, which means he is just like sheetan, but Subhan Allah , Allah corrected the belief, that it wasn’t the knowledge for which he ate from the tree, he ate it because he wanted to live forever like Angels , but sheetan deceived him with the tricks and lies, and after eating it he found out the fruit didn’t increase his life span and made him naked. so he came down to earth and apologized to God for that he bestowed upon him the knowledge and the Honor  and he is ashmed for being not thankful to his God and obeying Sheetan who tricked him.

for reference simple read Surah Baqarah 30-40 ayats, and Genesis 1st 3 chapters.

3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge ( Day 3 )

Previously on day 1 we discussed we Fast to get Taqwa, On day 2 we Discussed Taqwa is Needed to get Guidance from Quran. Now we do we need Guidance so badly in our Life ?
Lets take a rewind to the 1st human being ever created, Adam Pbuh was Placed in Jannah, in Heaven you have no fear, no sadness, no anxiety, no illness ,No tragedy etc. So when he ate from forbidden tree and then repented to Allah, Allah accepted his apology and said
“We said, “Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (2:38) .

So this earth can be lil close to the Heaven if we follow Allah guidance, we will have no fear and no Axiety and we can live this life on earth very close to the life in jannah. Yes here we will have illness and problems but you elimiate the fear and Sadness with Guidance of Allah.

So here is the equation.

Fast= Tawqa.

Taqwa= Guidance.

Guidance = No fear no Sadness = Happy life.

3 days 3 Quotes Challenge ( Day 2)

Previously on day 1 i told why do we fast ? we fast to attain Taqwa . No question is why do we need to attain Taqwa (Conscious of Allah ) ?

“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah” Quran(2:2).

So we need Taqwa to get Guidance from Allah through his book Quran.

Fasting= Taqwa.

Taqwa= Guidance.

If you fast you get taqwa, if you get taqwa you get “Guidance ” .

3 days 3 Quote Challenge ( Day 1)

So Farheen Siddique on her Blog challenged , and Challenged accepted 😛 ok thanks alot for remembering me in this. Im humbled.
ok in these 3 days i will try to make a point. why do we Muslims Fast whole month for almost 29 or 30 days? whats the benefit of this all. and i will conclude my point by an equation .
So day 1 .
Why do we Fast ?
Since its a Quote Challenge , so i will Quote from the Quran .
“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may have Taqwa.”  2:183.
What is taqwa, mostly it is translated as Fear of Allah and i strongly disagree with this defination. Fear is translated as Khauf in arabic. Taqwa is having Conscious of Allah.

So i end the day of 3 days Quote challange with this equation.
Fasting= Taqwa .
Next day i will explain what will happen if you attain taqwa.

(If you want to take this challenge tell me, i don’t want to annoy any one by tagging in ).

Gems from the 1st Ayat of Surah Kahaf

Friday = Surah Kahaf Day.
The Gems of 1st ayat of Surah Kahaf.

“[All] praise is [due] to Allah , who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance” 18:1 .
1. it begins with the Praise and Gratitude of Allah that he sent down the great Revelation.

2. Normal Grammer of the ayat could have been ” he sent down the Book upon his slave” But the ayat goes like ” And he sent down upon his slave… the Book ” , So there are two main reasons for the peculiar pattern of the ayat, If you want to emphasize on something you say things like. ” A Beautiful Burger i ate ” in short can be said like ” A Burger I ate” . second you want to make them Curious , like in award shows they say “and the Winner is…. XYZ” , Same way when Allah said ” Praise and Gratitude belongs to the one who sent down upon his slave…. ” every one kept thinking what is it ? it must be something really really Important.

3. The Slave comes 1st and then the book, and Allah called his Beloved Pbuh the slave instead of a Messenger, because the Messenger can add something from his own, but a Slave can’t add or exclude something from his own. A slave only obeys the Will of the master.So calling Him pbuh the slave 1st and then talking about the book is the proof there will never be any error in the book, the slave will tell it exactly what to do, when to do, how to do.

4. Surah kahaf is Makki Surah, Quran got Completed in Madina after a decade of migration, but Allah revealing a Surah in Makkah and saying ” he sent down upon his slave the Book” it was his promise that the Quran is going to be revealed Completely, it also relaxed Prophet Mohamamd Pbuh.

5. Allah made his Messenger Pbuh slave who won’t make any changes in the Book, So the Book will stand straight and won’t deviate , So the next part of the ayat saying the book in it has no deviance.

Lessons taken from Ustad Nouman Ali khan Series ” Surah Kahaf in Depth”

Coherence in the Quran

Since its Friday, Surah Kahaf day. and the Month if isra as well.In Quran Surah Isra and Surah Kahaf are considered to be a pair. Lets share how are they linked to each other.

1. Surah Isra Has 111 Ayats, Surah Kahaf has 110 ayats.

2. Surah Isra Starts with Subhan Allah ( starting the praise) surah Kahaf starts with Alhamdulillah ( Completing the praise) .

3. Surah Isra talks about Mohammad Pbuh ascending upto heavens to receive the Book, Surah Kahaf talks about the Book Comming down to Prophet Mohammad Pbuh.

4. Surah Isra has lessons for Jews and Surah Kahaf as lessons for Christians.

5. Surah Isra and Surah kahaf both talks about the Sheetan. Since surah Isra is for jews and Jews rejected the Prophet Mohamamd Pbuh since he wasn’t from their bloodline, So Allah talking about sheetan rejecting adam since he was from Fire and adam from Clay. Surah Kahaf is addressing to Christians,and Christians think of Sheetan as a Fallen angel, So In Surah Kahaf Allah is saying in the story of Sheetan and Adam that Sheetan was from Jinkind .

6. Moses Pbuh is mentioned in both Surah’s ending. Moses has two sides of his personality. Now Jews are extroverts, like they expanding territory and they like spirituality and Christians like leadership, strength and power. So In Surah Isra addressing jews the Leadership of Moses Pbuh is highlighted which they neglect. He Challenge Firon (pharaoh), and in Surah Kahaf the Journey of Moses Pbuh is mentioned to highlight the spiritual part of Moses Pbuh which Christians neglect.

7. Last ayats of both Surah’s denys the shirk, but there are two major forms of Shirk, either you bring down Allah to the level of creation in status, or either you raise the status of a creation the level of Allah. jews brought down Allah to the level of Creation and said insulting things about him, Christians raise a creation to the level of Allah, now in the end of Surah Isra you will find denial of shirk which is raising Allah. in the end of Surah Kahaf you will see denial of Shirk which is raising creation to Allah status.

8. there are 3 ways of Knowing Allah, you know him through the signs of creation, you know him through the Revelation, you know him with his names. In Surah Isra 2nd last ayat it beings with “Kul (say) ” and it says Allah the beautiful names belongs to Allah, in Surah Kahaf it beings with ” Kul/Say ” and word “Lao Kana ” which means the word of Allah, and the word of Allah is the revelation, but when Allah says “Kun” the creation is also created, So you get to know Allah in all 3 possible ways.

9.Surah isra ends with ” Say Alhamdulillah ” , and surah Kahaf is the response of Surah Kahaf , So it beings with ” Allhamdulillah” .

10. Our 3rd kalima “Subhan Allahu, wal Hamdu lillahi, wa la illaha ilAllahu, wallahu Akbar” has wordings of Surah Isra and Surah Kahaf 1st and last ayats. Surah Isra begins with Subhan Allah, Surah kahaf beings with Allhamdulillah, then In surah Kahaf says no one must do shirk = Ia Illaha IAllahu, Surah Isra ends with the words Glorify Him with great Glorification = Allahu Akhbar in 3rd kalima. it goes in a circle.

This is extracted from the Ustad Nak lectures ” Surah Kahaf in Depth ” and Devine speech ” Coherence in Quran ” proof that the Quran is the word of Allah because no man can such words.

Recite Not Read

Here is something amazing i just found, Most of you already know this , but i found this on my own and it made me appreciate the 1st Revelation of Quran More. There is a consensus (Ijmah ) of the scholars as Surah Alaq is the 1st Revelation of the Quran. and the 1st word of the 1st revelation is ” Iqra ” which is usually translated as ” Read ” in some translations , but i just found out that “Read ” is not the correct translation, ” Recite ” is the correct one. Which makes the 1st revelation more Beautiful, Since reading is kind of an Input knowledge which is kept to own self, but Recite  input and as well as output at the same time, not only gaining knowledge but also giving it to others, and The 1st word is a kind of a Commandment, so who so ever hears that command it also becomes obligatory for him to recite and tell others, so a never ending chain starts. Now keeping the commandment in your mind, recite the 1st revelation of Quran and reflect upon it.

Recite in the name of your Lord who created -Created man from a clinging substance.Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous -Who taught by the pen -Taught man that which he knew not. ” (96:1-5)
